The Zonta Club of Johnson County, Kansas is a member of Zonta International. We believe in making the world a better place by empowering women. We find joy in doing this in a supportive community of like-minded professionals from diverse countries and cultures.
Zonta offers an environment where people of diverse backgrounds and ages can join together in fellowship, fundraising, networking and local and international service projects to benefit the local, regional and international communities.
Across the globe, Zontians volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs. Zonta has more than 30,000 members in more than 1200 clubs located in 63 countries and geographic areas. Zonta International, its districts and its clubs are nonsectarian and nonpartisan.
Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.
In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on equal basis with men.
In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
